Book launched by Anand Mahindra in Mumbai on March 9, 2012. 2010: Researched and wrote a survey of American business interests in West Bengal for the American Chamber of Commerce. 2009: Worked for the promotion of West Bengal crafts in India and overseas in association with the Crafts Council of West Bengal. 2008: Authored Down Lyons Range, 100 years of the Calcutta Stock Exchange. 2007: Researched, authored and edited the pre-conference publication of the National Human Resource Development Network: India's Century: the Challenge for Indian Business Leadership. 2006: Editorial Consultant for a documentary film, "Hot as Hell" produced by Paranjoy Guha Thakurata and Prasar Bharti on the Jharia Coalfield Fires. 2005: Worked as a consultant to DDB Oman on the privatization of the Oman telecom sector and prepared the marketing strategy for the Omantel privatization. Consultant for the UMS group, Oman, for its annual socio-economic review of Oman. Studying the issue of "ore security" for India. 2004: Prepared a country analysis of Bangladesh from a legal perspective for a firm of solicitors. Structured a journalism programme for a management school; Writing a text book for basic journalism, the UPPER CASE (draft stage) 2002-03: Worked with Dr A. V. Banerjee of MIT on an analysis of the impact of the reforms on Andhra Pradesh. Structured and conducted a course on Tea Management along with eminent tea personality, Dolly Roy. Text Book for the course written by Aditi Roy Ghatak. 2001: An expose on the electricity management by Calcutta's leading power utility, the CESC, published in The Statesman. Worked with the Korean Fashion Magazine, Madame Figaro on a colour feature on India. 2000: Worked on the economies of the Maldives and Sri Lanka for the Taj Group of Hotels. 1999-2000: Created 'Milon', an heritage exposition on master craftspersons of West Bengal as a communications exercise for the poorly-packaged crafts of the region. |

1998: Prepared a book on Tea on behalf of the Tea Board of India. 1997: Conducted a communications exercise for JWT for ITC's prospective brand extension programme with the impending curbs in cigarette advertising. 1996: Started working on the Chechurgheria death cases and interfaced between the media on the one hand and the social action group working for their rights on the other and seeing the case through to victory in the Supreme Court of India. Wrote a commissioned history of the Agrihorticultural Society of India, 175th year, "In Full Bloom" released by the then President of India, Dr Shanker Dayal Sharma. 1995: Wrote a commissioned history of the Associated Chamber of Commerce for its 75th year, "Partnerships for Progress" released by the then Finance Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh. 1994: Consultant to Asian Age. Associated with the launching of the Asian Age and starting its Kolkata Edition. Expose on the "witchbelt" of Bihar: a shocking account of practices in interiors of Bihar where women were denounced as witches by vested interests and dispossessed or murdered. Published by Asian Age. 1994-1986: Assistant Editor, The Statesman Extensively covered India's corporate / economic scene and wrote leaders of its various facets.
